Syracuse, one of the most beautiful city in Sicily, was inscribed in the  Unesco List of Heritage Sites  in 2005.It was founded  in VI century B.C.by Greek colonies that came from Corinth. Here were born outstanding personalities like Archimedes and Icarus.

The tour starts with a visit to the archaeological park of Siracusa, which contain the Greek Theater, the Roman Amphitheater, the Cave of Dionysus etc. We will also visit the island of Ortigia which is the old downtown of Syracuse. Here we can admire many baroque and classical monuments such as the Cathedral of Santa Lucia and the medieval Maniace Castle. Visiting Syracuse is like a time journey through the centuries back to the ancient Greek metropolis. During this visit there is also the opportunity to take a swim from a boat to admire the city and the coast with its many caves from the sea. Then we will go to Noto, also called the capital of sicilian baroque,  or the “stone garden” as the famous art critic Cesare Brandi named it. We  start from Porta Reale to have a walk on Vittorio Emanuele alley, enjoying the magic atmosphere created by several baroque churches and palaces which make this street so unique in the world.
